In the first quarter of 2025, the performance of the top investing and financial management apps on iOS in Australia showed varied trends in downloads and active users according to data from Sensor Tower.

CoinSpot - Buy & Sell Bitcoin experienced a significant peak in weekly downloads, reaching approximately 20.7K in mid-January. However, downloads steadily declined to about 2.3K by the end of March. The app's weekly active users saw an initial rise from 250K to 290K in January, followed by a gradual decrease to around 189K by quarter-end.

Crypto.com: Buy BTC, ETH & CRO showed a notable increase in weekly downloads, peaking at 14.8K in mid-January before tapering off to 1.7K by March. The app's active user base started at 73.3K, briefly rising to about 78.6K in late January, but then declined to 53.4K by the end of the quarter.

Binance: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto saw its weekly downloads peak at 12.6K in mid-January, decreasing to 1.9K by late March. Active users followed a similar pattern, starting at 167K, peaking at 190K, and then declining to 104K.

Phantom - Crypto Wallet showed a peak in downloads of 14.4K in mid-January, which decreased to 894 by March's end. Active users increased from 27.6K to 42K in January, followed by a decline to 20.5K by quarter-end.
